Bank statements are sensitive. This page explains how the current converter is designed to reduce unnecessary exposure.
Browser-only conversion
The current converter reads supported PDF statements in your browser. The PDF file is not uploaded to our server for conversion, and the Excel, CSV, and JSON exports are generated in your browser session.
No account required
You do not need to create an account to test the converter. This keeps the first version simple and avoids storing user accounts, uploaded statement files, or conversion history.
No AI training on statement files
The current browser-only parser does not send your PDF to an AI model. If we add optional OCR or AI parsing later, it will be clearly labeled and covered in this policy before use.
Form submissions
Contact and conversion report forms are handled by Netlify Forms. Do not submit full account numbers, bank login credentials, passwords, or documents through these forms.
Known limitations
Browser-only parsing works best on text-based PDFs. Scanned statements and unusual layouts may fail until OCR and more bank-specific parsers are added.
